Volunteer Opportunities at Worland Youth Cabin

Worland Youth Cabin depends on volunteers who want to build, improve, and care for a place that serves youth, families, and community groups in the Bighorn Mountains. We welcome individuals and groups looking for meaningful, hands-on service.

What Volunteer Projects Look Like

Typical projects include:

  • Grounds maintenance

  • Firewood cutting and wood shed work

  • Cabin repairs, staining, painting, and weatherproofing

  • Building benches, tables, storage, or signage

  • Seasonal opening and closing tasks

  • Projects range from one-day work projects to larger builds depending on scope and experience.

Scouts, Students, & Service Hours

Worland Youth Cabin is well-suited for:

  • Boy Scout & Eagle Scout service projects

  • High school community service hours

  • National Honor Society or scholarship service requirements

  • Projects here create real, lasting improvements and offer leadership opportunities in an outdoor setting. We’re happy to help define scope and provide documentation when needed.
